As I play a little round up on all that is on the horizon, I've been off the radar the last couple days. Nothing like a 5 hour flight delay and a few hours of sleep to cap off what was otherwise a lovely visit with my family.
Today, Sunday, I hope you are resting. As we progress into February, we will be starting to make the shift from brute strength into more Met-cons with a few long hauls thrown in there for good measure. You will still get some strength, but plan on some short fast 6-8 minutes wods.
Lake has decided to enter into this years competition from the coaching side. I know it was a tough decision on his part, but as his injuries are preventing him from being the competitor he wants to be, his coaching is truly an asset to our athletes. Lake, we are grateful for all that you do, and having you in the foxhole coaching will give our athletes invaluable leadership.
Monday the 15th of February begins our new Crossfit Elements series. This is a 4 week series that builds progressively on the 9 Basic Moves covered in the Intro Seminar. You will learn the skills and movements necessary for Crossfit WODs. It happens Mondays at 6:30. Sign-up sheet is on the board, or come talk to me.
